FYI. I had a CD with Breezy (5.10) on it, and installed it. Didn't have any
problems with updating it, so I tried upgrading it to Dapper Drake. I just
checked it today, and I am now on Drapper Drake, and am able to access the
archives via apt.

I am not behind a proxy. here is a debug of an update. If you are wanting
something different, please let me know. This is the only debug i know how

Yes it is. I even re-downloaded the ISO and burned it again. Even after the
reinstall, I still was unable to get any apt requests to work.
