Thank you also for taking your time to reply. During the creation of a new
profile.. I was able to download again... I am not sure how i will recreate
the bug as it occurred suddenly after download and restart of my computer..
would it be possible if i'll just delete the default profile,

Ubuntu better. Many bugs in Firefox are due to third party themes,
extensions, etc. Please try recreating this bug using a different
profile. Procedure follows:
