i have this problem and i don't have Yslow!
this actually crashes my whole computer, not just FF!

If you update Yslow to the version 2.06, the problem goes away.

BTW, what fix was realeased? I have my system updated today and the bug
is still around

Same problem here Ubuntu 9.10 64-bit firefox 3.5-7
Yslow disabled and now everything goes as expected.
This is a firefox bug due to something with Yslow extension.

Disabled YSlow add-on restarted and it worked fine. It seems that this
