First of all, for me it records it in "webm" format. Secondly, it seems to be
able to open it fine.
(Refer to the attached video)
It would be nice if they have some customising options as to which format you
want it in, whether mic be turned on/off and so on.
But that's Gnome's integration right
Oh by the way, I'm using:
Distro: Stable release of Ubuntu 11.10
Kernel: 3.0.0-12-generic
Architecture: x86_64
