Ardour's Italian Translation makes it impossible to use it

This can take a long time for us to review: Ardour is not in main, so not under
our direct control.
Checking via Ardour SVN the last translation is not very old and looks like it
has been done by somebody inside the music sector.
If the translations are wrong or supposedly wrong, it is definitely
iltony,
Assigning it to the Italian translators in case they want to review the
translations, but in principle, I'm setting this to "Won't Fix" because
there is an easy workaround if you don't want to use them.

Thanks Thomas, the temporary trick you reported works well. By typing
"LANG=en_US.UTF-8 ardour2", English in Ardour is back again. :-)

Not a solution but for a workaround you could try running ardour from a
shell like this:
$ LANG=en_US.UTF-8 ardour
Of course the translation should be fixed and probably disabled until it
is.
