I should note that while trying to reproduce this bug with gdb, I had
some issues. At the first attempt, gdb wouldn't accept CTRL-C, and when
I finally got its command prompt back, I couldn't enter anything there.
I tried a couple more times to reproduce the bug, and at one point, it
was fixed: Nau
