There is a newer version in karmic-proposed waiting for people to test it. It
fixes both reported FTBFS and another bug reported by users. There is also
another report about it: LP: #317366. Please, check it for instructions how to
enable karmic-proposed repository and test package.
I'm closing
There's a patch here [1] that makes it compile.
