I fix this bug sudo gedit /usr/lib/firefox-addons/extensions/firefoxnot...@abhishek.mukherjee/chrome/content/download_complete_notify.py an then search for POSSIBLE_ICONS_NAMES replace 'firefox-3.0' with 'firefox-3.5' -- Notification does not show icon by default https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs
