After switching to nvidia-glx-legacy instead of nvidia-glx, the crash
disappeared for me (both drivers support my card). So the older driver
did not have this bug.

It seems this bug has been reported to upstream at
http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=73033. AFAIK those are
the "official" Nvidia/Linux forums.

It doesn't crash when I click on the description expander! (thats the
way how to avoid this bug)
The only thing I have to do to produce the crash is starting the
updatem
