I experience the same problem also after sending a file. I'm on Lucid
32bit. After sending a file on MSN network telepathy-butterfly hangs on
99% cpu usage.

I've juste experienced what might be the same problem in Lucid:
telepathy-butterfly maxes the CPU. It is the first time it happens, I've been
using Lucid without problems for quite some time.
However, I don't know how to obtain the telepathy-butterfly log.
