I have this problem too.
Both for copy as well as cut operations, all calc-windows simply close.
Not an error message or anything.
Pretty much every spreadsheet I use, even the most simple one where I
start from scratch, write some lines of text, some numbers and sum these
numbers end up crashing
Does the problem persist if you select the whole sheet; copy it ;
File|New|Spreadsheet; edit | paste special and paste all but the
objects? Save the new file and try and break it!
Do you use the control keys c,x and v; the drop down edit menu or the
menu bar icons?
