No, that's not likely. Because KPackageKit - when showing the reported
behavior - is not asking for password before quitting. So the work stays
undone. Only when clicking "apply" KPackageKit asks for password -

okay button worked (before update - I dont know what will happen next

I can confirm this bug using 0.4.2-0ubuntu3. "OK" closes kpackagekit and
does nothing, apply works perfectly.

Confirming that nasty bug. OK may hide the update manager while APPLY
may keep it visible, but exiting on OK is too hard.

additional comment: The process starts when clicking [OK] and shuts down
after "Abfrage läuft"-Box. This is before I am asked for allowing
additional installation of packages due to dependencies and committing
the password.
