KDE 4.3.4 has not been released for Karmic (at least officially). Is it
going to be release as a backport?
I don't know if the problem is fixed in Lucid, I will test and report
back...

Hi,
The bug is already reporte upstream [1] and it shows as fixed. However,
Kubuntu packages still have the issue. That's why I'm reporting it here
