I've poked at this a bit more, actually it seems to be Lotus Notes that's the
common problem.
I can't hibernate or suspend when it is open.
I will have to take it up with IBM, if there is any underlying issue, they'll
push back into the upstream component.

Hibernate works if I disconnect from the network before hand.
