I would suggest the wording Only download the package file(s) to keep it
concise, and adding a tooltip like: "Only download the package file, don't
install it. You can install them later from the 'DOWNLOAD_DIRECTORY'
directory." What do you think?

Thanks for telling me to remove the feature ie trusting that i can but
you see im a mechanical engineer and i dont know much programming
language so i cant write scripts or do much action in ubuntu either than
help out noobs like myself.
The people on the far right panel that you see are th
applecache, then I suggest removing this feature from Synaptic Package
Manager (from synaptic package that is) since it is unnecessary. Please
remove the feature and also everything related to it. It should be
removed in the case when you're removing package files. Thank you.

What i think people are saying is that when you select "download package
files only" it does download them but if you exit synaptic it
automatically removes them so whats the point of downloading them in the
first place.
