I have precisely the same issue as Davide Castellone - computer is an HP 530. Vista OS and Recovery are reversed. Unfortunately, this is a friend's computer. I'm not available for follow up and will try installing grub rather than grub2. OS is LinuxMint Gnome 9. Fresh Install. -- GRUB os-prober i
