I just update my kubuntu netbook to Lucid Lynx 10.04 and now it works better
than windows! I tested also on ubuntu lucid lynx 10.04 and it works great.

The code that controls that is common to both Kubuntu and Ubuntu, so I'm
not sure how it could be different. I have a 10v and I find the
touchpad seriously annoying.
