I logged into yahoo and hotmail on one machine with pidgin and made my
status to invisible. started empathy on another machine and I was not
online on any of the contacts. sent a message from yahoo and received
and then sent a message from hotmail account again received

protocol(yahoo,gtalk..) were you using?
