I confirm that the scrolling is fast now, also on old hardware. There
are other performance problems in software centre, but the scrolling
problem is solved.

It does seem quite a bit faster. I'm on a virtual machine, and general
usability is slow anyways, so I will not mark as fixed yet. Can someone

all the added navigation features/animations). I'm on a moderately
powerful machine yet it still is a little painful sometimes.
