OOOK. I feel like an idiot. (woo)
System -> Preferences -> Mouse -> Touchpad...
There, I unchecked "Disable touchpad while typing" and all my "problems
went away", Also, my wildest dearms became true.
IT IS A FEATURE NOT A BUG!

Ok, this happens only while using the touch pad.
This laptop is a Thinkpad T61p, it has a touchpad and on of those red points,
and I have a USB keyboard and mouse connected through the docking station.
Everything works fine exept the touchpad.
even if it is docked or undocked the touchpad loses
Bryce, why was the package changed to -ati? It seems like an input
problem.
