dino99, please as original reporter at least ask before to mark as
invalid, also there are more users affected to get feedback. I have
quantal now and running the command it seems still valid:
$ sudo fsck -vf /dev/sda7
fsck from util-linux 2.20.1
fsck: fsck.ntfs: not found

The best way as far as I know is to disable checking by editing
/etc/fstab as a root and modifying the digit in the last column.
Replacing a 1 or a 2 by a zero should avoid the error.

having lost my windows xpsp3 entry into grub2 menu (natty i386) after a
bad grub-probe update, fsck fail too:
oem@oem-desktop:~$ sudo fsck /dev/sda1

The bug isn't invalid. The message continue showing. If the program dont
