I have tried this using Oneiric, and could not reproduce it. Can anyone confirm
this still exists on Lucid or later releases, or can we mark it as Fixed?

It seems to be reproducable if the theeme is switched between a inverse
theme and a normal theme (e.g. High contrast Inverse) and clearlooks.

I've been having this issue too, had it awhile ago, and it's still in
hardy, though it seems like it happened not as easily in hardy then in
previous versions. It appears to (in hardy) either be caused by certain
themes, or it needs the theme to be changed a few times before it

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been
