the problem re-appeared.

I just got what sounds like this bug right after installing Kubuntu.

Machine is an older Macbook.
The symptoms:
Knetworkmanager seems to store the password for a wireless connection but then

I'm struggling with this issue since Intrepid. I cannot help solving it
as I'm not a developer, but I'm wondering if this will be solved in
Lucid so I won't have to install Network Manager Gnome on KDE, which is
always annoying since I don't have Internet access to get the GNOME
dependencies.

The cause of this behavior is change of dbus api between versions of nm.
