Strange, I'm still seeing this problem. If I create a directory like: ~/Desktop$ mkdir "foo bar" It opens correctly from the widget, but: ~/Desktop$ mkdir foo\ bar Causes problems - MArkus -- Folderview-widget does not open directories with spaces in the name https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/
