Is this anywhere nearer to being resolved? I find this highly irritating. And the fact is I don't want to use Shift instead of Caps Lock. I'm used to my method, and I don't understand why Ubuntu has to be different to basically every other OS on this issue, it only irritates people. -- You receiv

SAme problem. I was taught to use shift key but somewhere along the line changed to caps lock. TYping speed potential can be higher for some people using caps lock because it avoids the process requiring the brain to perform a simultaneous key press. IF you can press three keys faster than pressi

This is also a bit of a problem for me in a bit of a strange way too... I generally use vim for editing files, so to exit out of a file, I use :wq - I tend to end up on a regular basis writing :Wq instead of :wq This is only happening on my laptop, and it's pretty darned annoying. ** Package ch
