Same case applied for me. cd (data and music) were running just fine. But it's just unable to mount dvd's anykind (movie/data). I've dual booting with windows and there my cdrom running fine, so I'm pretty sure that was not a hardware problem. Any positive progress would be much appreciated. --

I don't experience this bug now. The disks are mounted and I can read their contents. The only problem is that it is not possible to open the drive using a button, but it's not really annoying.
