KDE users will probably want to use this repo, and it doesn't hurt gnome
And because Karmic will be out soon, I guess this shouldn't be a problem.

Unfortunately we cannot offer newer (Py)Qt versions to Jaunty or
Intrepid, other than to Jaunty via the PPA. (We cannot backport Qt 4.5.2
as there are some known regressions, it's all just a bit too risky) As
this is fixed in karmic, I am closing the python-qt4 task.
