TJ - I suspect you're seeing a kernel issue rather than xorg, however
it's hard to be certain. Can you do a few tests?
First, ssh into the box from another machine and reproduce the error.
Are you able to still use the ssh session? If so, then it is an Xorg
crash. If not, then it's a kernel cra

I'm seeing the same thing on a Sony Vaio VGN-FE41Z, with Gutsy x86_64
(and Hardy beta).
After having previously done a Suspend/Resume everything appears to be
