Please don't remove a "Won't Fix" tag, unless you intend to fix the
issue yourself

This bug represents serious issue in upcoming release and cannot be
ignored!
Where do you think most Ubuntu/Server instances installed?
For example in my organization half of Ubuntu instances are in VEs and we were
planning upgrade to Karmic.

As this bug is currently marked as Won't fix, I'll provide a quick
workaround to have a working OpenVZ VE using Karmic for the VE and Hardy
for the host. I'm running it for a few VZ here (mostly NX application
servers on gnome) and it seems to work correctly so far.
Once you have created your VE,
I reported this bug upstream as well.
As a work around you can run 9.10 , you just need to start the VE
manually.
For example if you are running 9.10 in a template (VE) 910
sudo vzctrl start 910
sudo vzctrl exec 910 init 2
Assuming your template is working it (the VE) will then start.
Making a
so, this mean that I unable to run VE with 9.10 on ubuntu LTS 8.04 with
openvz kernel..
any ideas about this? we have 2.6.24 in LTS (even not 2.6.26 as in
Debian Lenny) :(
