This is an old bug report from long ago (9/2009) during the alpha
release of Karmic (Ubuntu 9.10).
I would point out, it would be almost impossible to give you a copy of
the log or run "apport-collect -p linux 433641" if the mouse and
keyboard are not working =)

This bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it
recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? Can you try with the
latest development release of Ubuntu? ISO CD images are available from
http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/releases/ .
