Jakub always suggests to not use svg icons for small resolutions. So I would suggest not to only add a SVG version, but also one for 22x22. There is a Tango one, but the used metaphor doesn't seem to attract user's attention enough. -- update-manager icon in notification area should be scalable

this is actually a bug in update-notifier, not update-manager. attached is an svg version of the "updates-notifier" image that could be used by the application (currently the only version icon is located at /usr/share/icons/hicolor/16x16/apps/updates-notifier.png). Not very detailed, but at least
