This really isn't a bug. The policy statements differentiating Builds-
Depends: and Build-Depends-Indep: make it clear that one is expected to
have the Build-Depends: installed to run debian/rules clean. It's a
good thing to reduce the number of operations taken during clean just
because it speed

I'm sorry I didn't automatically close this bug, but I think this has
been fixed for a while now. I looked over the two patches attached
above and I believe all of these changes have been incorporated in the
current qemu-kvm package. Please re-open this bug if Lucid's qemu-kvm
package is

Please find attached the two patches I use. commit-b0e62dc removes the
deletion of pc-bios/*.bin, because they are shipped upstream and git-
buildpackage is unhappy when they are deleted in the clean target.
With those patches applied cleaning without dependencies works fine, but
I'm not sure whet
