update-apt-xapian-index crashed with SystemError in open()
installed gmusicbrowser from their website because in the repo is only
an older one.

after install i quit gdebi. the icon of updates stayed gray in the
panel. a click on it opened synaptic. i t
Ditto here ! Used Synaptic in Lucid and the crash icon appeared.
