That's a negat. For me mesa 7.6.0~git20090817.7c422387-0ubuntu2 is still no go. Even after kernel upgrade to 2.6.31-10 I got kernel panic when moved mouse while glMatrix screensaver was running. Next time glMatrix just froze and it was better I could do SysRq + RSIUB kungfu. Mine bug was #419264
