follow-up as I have installed Karmic Beta on the Dell Mini 9. Once again
it seems fine until I install the sta driver via restricted drivers. The
machine threw up some kernel oops reports but seems to work now and I
have working wireless.

On alpha 5 hardware drivers install broadcom correctly, but it doesnt
work until restart. It would be good to have some notification that
you need to restart.
