Note that I don't collect similar data for UEC instances, because I
didn't have one handy to test. It should be obvious how to add it if
you look at the code:
smoser: if you want to make any changes or see how it works, grab
lp:~ubuntu-core-dev/ubuntu/karmic/apport/ubuntu and look in data
/gener
The information collected is limited to: Ec2AMI, Ec2AMIManifest,
Ec2Kernel, Ec2Ramdisk, Ec2InstanceType and Ec2AvailabilityZone. It's
easy enough to add more, but it doesn't collect *everything* because I
assumed some of it would be private.

I committed that code to apport and it's already in Karmic. Any bug
reported using apport (e.g. ubuntu-bug ec2-init) on recent Karmic should
attach the EC2 details automagically. Is this not working for you?
