Well, packages.ubuntu.com is pretty outdated but you are not right.
The current version in karmic is 1.4.2-2.

http://packages.ubuntu.com/karmic/twinkle still lists 1:1.2-3build1 as
the most recent version for karmic which is what I'm interested in, not
a backport.
I don't think it makes any big difference what package a sync request
bug is filed ag
Next time please file the bug against the package and not against
ubuntu.
Current version in Karmic is 1.4.2-2.
Jaunty has the version 1.2-3build1 but as we don't update packages
within a released Ubuntu version (except grave bugfixes) I don't see any
chances for an update.
