You should not install the Flash from Adobe, but rather the flash plugin
from Ubuntu. Can you install flashplugin-nonfree please? It should
replace the Adobe player. You can use synaptic, adept, or your favorite
package manager.

Since the reply from Micah Gersten, I have installed Firefox 3.5
(Shiretoko). I then went to the Adobe website and downloaded and ran
install_flash_player_10_linux.deb.
Actually, it said that I was reinstalling it.
Videos still don't play. The add-ons lists in both Firefox 3.0 and
Shiretoko sti
