Why is not there any novelty about it? If it's not going to be fixed,
it's better to remove unace package from repositories. It has become
obsolete and useless

If you look at the debian mailing list, it says that the maintainer does
not want to work with non-free software when he does not have too.
But maybe you or I can package it, and hope to jump as a MOTU for that
if it's okay.
