Ok, I found a part of my own websites (joomla administration) which is
not loaded by firefox, not in firefox-3.1 (9.04), not in firefox 3.5
(9.04) and not in the last firefox of ubuntu 8.10 (inside a VirtualBox
instance on the same computer).

I forgott the addons question: Seems not to depend on addons, because
it allso can be fount when I newly installed (because of this bug, where
i work on since a about a month) ubuntu 9.04 from the download desktop
image (and after the first updates with updata-manager). So there
shouldn't be any
I use 9.04. The problem occurs on 3.0 and 3.5 of firefox. And it's the
same with safe-mode. So I think it doesn't really come from the
browser. It is the same with epiphany (but isn't it the same engine?)
If the problem doesn't come from the browser, i can only find it there.
But also the evout

do you have installed and what versions of them?
What Firefox version are you using?

Maybe it's not firefox but a gnome bug? I can make the following
