Some people speculate it's about Yahoo changing it's servers and stuff. If
that's the case, the online web services like http://invisible-scanner.com
still work with that "Show avatar" link...
It should work both as a workaround and as a reimplementation
Also, all over the forums there are.deb f
Well, there's a note on the pidgin website saying they're very much
aware of this problem and asking for people to stop posting this
everywhere :). I guess they'll solve it in the future, so there's no
point in just reminding everybody there's a problem... they're highly
aware... meanwhile, I'm jus

I am experiencing the same issue, but with 64-bit Windows 7 RC1. This
was a fresh install, with .purple log and icons copied over from my
Windows XP 32-bit box. My XP 32-bit laptop with an existing Pidgin
installation experienced no issues with buddy icons after an overlay
install of Pidgin 2.5.7.
Changed package affected to pidgin.

Same thing here. I just upgraded to Pidgin 2.5.7 on Windows XP and I
can't get the buddy icons to show... didn't find any options. I'm
running on a 32-bit Intel platform, but I doubt it's that. Does it have
something to do with the new yahoo protocols and all? To me it's not a
problem, didn't even
