I have these some remnant files from my realplayer install which point to a
similar place as yours, please run:
locate nphelix
remove any files in:
/usr/lib/firefox/plugins
/usr/lib/mozilla/plugins
/usr/lib/mozilla-firefox/plugins

Oh, is that what elfclass means? I am on a 64 bit system but did not
manually install realplayer. I already removed realplayer but the problem
consisted. The new strace said something about the Canberra libs. I'll
post that new strace up here for you to look at later, once I'm on the right
comp
Your problem appears to be that you are trying to load 32 bit
realplayer. Are you on a 64 bit system? Did you manually install
realplayer on your system?
