Thanks for the report - I found that the translations were getting
cleaned out of the package during build. The newest debian version
0.9.8.2-2 fixes it, so i'm merging this bug with that sync request by
marki
again this is confirmed in maverick
every /usr/share/qtiplot/translations/qtiplot_xx.qm file is way too short
(<1KB) to translate QtiPlot.
as before, recompile oneself or simply replace with ones from author's site
solve the problem

Same here. I just downloaded the source (qtiplot_0.9.7-1ubuntu1),
recompiled, replaced the .qm, that helped.
