Can duplicate - same issue with fresh install of 9.04. Newline at bash

I have a similiar issue with "sudo dpkg-reconfigure fontconfig-config"
on 9.04. I get a new line back at the bash prompt with no additional
information. Also, this command was working normally on 8.10.
