Ok, just tell us if this bug is reproducible with the latest updated package of
Lucid.
If yes, please run in a terminal
apport-collect -p qsstv 380021

I have had the same experience with qsstv-5.3c-8 on 9.04 and 9.10. The
transmitting scan for scottie 1 is 2-3 seconds. This version is very
flawed, I cannot think what is keeping it from working. The program does
open from Synaptic program manager, but FAILS TO transmit and recieve
sstv. Very chopp
