Just curious if the fix for bug 377395 (which bug 378930 referenced in
an earlier comment was marked a dup of) resolves the issue you are

Try rebooting without the USB and FW disks attached.
Do you still get the problem?
I don't think this is a kernel issue but rather a udev/blkid issue
similar to the one I reported in Bug 378930.
