In Ubuntu 14.04 LTS I am having the issue of the Unity Desktop crashing
as a result of connecting to a Windows 2000 PC via RDP (any RDP viewer).

I too have the same problem while accessing WinXP via any desktop client that
uses RDP.
I am running karmic on a Thinkpad T61.
I can offer more details if sometime tells me what details are needed.
