At 10.10, with Evolution 2.30.3-1ubunt7 and evolution-mapi
0.30.3-1ubuntu1, I still have the problem. The terminal output is
exactly the same with Johannes Daprà 's.
On System Log Viewer, I have following error message:

I have the same issue here using 10.10 Maverick (64 bti). under lucid it
worked fine.
terminal output:
evolution

I am running 10.04, and I have exactly the same error
If I try to setup a new account, it gives the error:
Authentication Failed.
ProcessNetworkProfile:MAPI_E_NOT_FOUND

Although putting in the IP address stops it crashing, I still get an
error (the same as was in the original log):
Authentication Failed.
ProcessNetworkProfile:MAPI_E_NOT_FOUND

A workaround is to use the IP address instead the servername and it will
let you set up your account.
