Is there any chance to backport to Jaunty ? Or have I to wait for Karmic
to have this version vtk ?

(It's on -5 revision already) I think I've signed up for something I
can't complete. Everytime I try in FTBFS although debian buildd logs
suggest that -5 can be successfully compiled on i386. In addition my
hardware is not the best (takes about 2 hours to get to 50% of the first
build cycle and the
