Alex, why don't you do the test that I just mentioned and see for
yourself that IT IS NOT FIXED. I don't know who confirmed that it was
fixed, but if you do what I told you, you will see that in fact it is
not well fixed. Windows seem to close, but they remain hidden somewhere,
and you can confirm

It has not been fixed, not even in 10.04. Windows do close, but just
visually, because they remain open in the background. I have tested this
in www.elchat.com (spanish) , they allow you to open up to 2 private

The english translation is that this bug is fixed in jaunty, the ubuntu
development version which will eventually become the 9.04 release.
There is no released ubuntu version that includes the fix for this bug.
